GIC2025 is coming to you on August 12 – 14, 2025, J N Tata Auditorium, IISc, Bengaluru. Researchers, scientists, and industry professionals are invited to submit abstracts for presentation at the Genomics India Conference (GIC) 2025, centered on the theme “The Indian Genomics Journey.” Submissions must focus on genomics projects conducted in India – ranging from small-scale initiatives to large, nationwide efforts. Abstracts should align with one or more of the conference’s key focus areas, which include Human Genome Studies, Cancer Genomics, Microbes & Microbiomes, Viral Genomes, Agricultural Genomics, Single Cell Genomics, AI in Genomics, Infectious Diseases, Population Genomics, Ayurveda & Plant Genomes, Fishery Genomes, Cattle Genomes, Clinical Genomics, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). Contributors are encouraged to present original research, novel insights, or impactful applications that advance the field of genomics in the Indian context. GIC 2025 offers a vital platform to highlight your work, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, and contribute meaningfully to India’s genomics landscape.

The Genomics India conference is open to all scientists and researchers working in areas of genomics. The conference invites abstract representing original results in all areas of genomics for poster presentation. Abstracts will be evaluated for their relevance to the broad theme of “The Indian Genomics Journey”.

Abstract title should be brief and must be in upper case.
Abstract text – should limit to 500 words, exceeding more than 500 words will not be admitted.
The abstract must be informative, including a title section, abstract or
summary, short introduction, aims and objectives, methodology, results,
discussion and conclusions.
Only standard abbreviations have to be used.
During the abstract submission process, presenting authors must provide contact details (Email-ID, Contact Number).
Abstracts must be written in English. Avoid complex characters or formula difficult to understand.
